The historic Maxwelton Braes Lodge and Banquet Facility is located in beautiful Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin on the south end of town near the shores of Lake Michigan. Maxwelton Braes is a historic lodge originally built in the 1930s situated in the middle of a gorgeous 18-hole golf course. In addition to the golf course, our property also includes 2 lighted tennis courts and 4 pickle ball courts, indoor and outdoor banquet facilities, and our onsite restaurant Thyme Cuisine on the main level.

In our main lodge, we have 11 rooms….basic lodge rooms, deluxe lodge rooms, and one or two bedroom suites. Also, out on the 16th hole, are our 12 Rustic Fairway Suites.

Located on the second floor of our property is a fabulous banquet facility. Our guests are able to host an event of any size in a private setting. The banquet facility offers guests unique options for different size events with a personal bar, large and small dining areas, stage, dance floor, restrooms, and an unforgettable view of the golf course. It is truly a magical space to hold your special event! Our banquet facility has hosted many weddings, corporate retreats, fundraisers, and celebrations.

We also offer an expansive outdoor patio which can be tented. The surrounding grounds offer unlimited possibilities for any size events.
